TIA's International Research Program has released Japan Travel View: Attitudes and Trends, 2002 Edition, the first in a series of annual reports profiling the Japanese outbound travel market with a focus on travel to the U.S. during the 2000 calendar year. The report examines Japanese outbound travel, while providing an overview of the social, economic, and political conditions that affect travel. It also includes data tables and analysis of demographics and travel behavior of the 5.1 million visitors who made the U.S. the most popular long-haul destination for the Japanese in 2000. Released May 2002.
