TIA Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee
Members of the TIA Foundation Scholarship Committee are tasked with selecting scholarship winners from all of the various nominations. Several factors go into their selection decisions, including essays written by applicants on topic such as, "What Segment of the Tourism Industry Interests You and Why."
The 2008 TIA Foundation Scholarship Committee included:

- John Marks, Past TIA National Chair & Past TIA Foundation Chair
- Fred Miller, Former Member of TIA Foundation Board
- Debby Rivera, Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau
- Barbara Steinfeld, Travel Portland and NCDO Board Member
- Bob Warren, Redding Convention & Visitors Bureau & NCDO Chair
