| ESTO
ESTO, or the Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations, is the premier event to promote education and development for tourism destination marketing professionals around the country. Participants from over 150 State and Territory Tourism Offices and Destination Marketing Organizations across the nation come together at ESTO to discuss fundamental and pressing issues affecting destination marketing. In attendance for the State and Territory Tourism Offices are the State Tourism Directors, as well as Directors of Marketing, PR and Advertising. Representing the Destination Marketing Organizations are the CEO, VP of Tourism and Directors of Marketing. In addition, ESTO features the annual awards ceremony honoring the winners of the NCDO Destiny Awards*, the NCSTD Mercury Awards*, the NCSTD Trotter Special Service Award*, and the State Tourism Director of the Year*. Through dynamic presentations, panel discussions, interactive break-out sessions, travel education meetings and peer networking, ESTO provides a wealth of actionable advice and educational tools to address the specific challenges and concerns of these industry segments.
