Membership Means Business

Joining the U.S. Travel is one sure way to make a difference for you and your business. It is one of the biggest values in travel.

U.S. Travel Association Works To:

1. CONNECT
It's critical to stay competitive in this economy and to search for new opportunities. As a member, you're able to tap into a 1,700-member Who's Who of travel and tourism directory, have your business linked online, and attend signature events at a discount. See who belongs.

2. INFORM
Business is changing faster than ever. U.S. Travel Outlook gives you up-to-date travel data - actionable information you need to make fact-based business decisions. You also have exclusive password-protected access to leading-edge research and receive a 40% discount on research publications. Your membership gives you the edge you need to make smart, targeted, on-the-money business decisions.

3. PROMOTE
The U.S. Travel Association is literally bringing travelers to your doorstep with its successful International Pow Wow; the launch of the first official U.S. travel and tourism website, DiscoverAmerica.com - now operating in five international markets; and promotion through 12 Discover America pavilions at major international travel events, including in emerging markets like China.

4. PROTECT
Each and every day while you're building your business, the U.S. Travel Association looks out for your interest in Washington. That's how the Travel Promotion Act is a step closer to becoming law, and the VISA Waiver Program added seven more countries - which means upwards of one million more travelers.

5. DEFEND
You probably have heard the rhetoric attacking meetings and incentive business - which impacts everyone in travel. To defend your interest, U.S. Travel has launched an aggressive campaign promoting the value of meetings and travel. Through the "Meetings Mean Business" website, the industry now has a toolkit to help inform companies, policymakers and the media about the benefits of travel to business' bottom line and our overall economy.
